Jane Stanford can be
contacted here.Principles Jane is a firm believer in the principles of Classical Dressage and the German method of dressage training. She has been riding since childhood, and was a very successful junior show jumper in Sydney.
She won many events at the
Royal Easter Show which were then the highest standards available in the State. At that time she was under the tuition of Kalman de Jurenak, who
also trained the Australian Olympic Squad. Karl de Jurenak was also for many years
director of the famous Hanoverian Verband in Verden.
Jane has more than 20 years experience in dressage. She has studied many times in Germany with Kalman de Jurenak and has been a rider at the stables of Holger Finken
and Hannes Baumgart amongst others.
Jane believes that correct, sound, and fundamental training must be applied right from the initial stages, both for safety sake, and as a platform for future improvement. She also believes in a firm but co-operative relationship between the horse and rider.
LessonsJane is available for lessons in the Terry Hills area and the northern suburbs of Sydney, and is able to travel outside that area by negotiation.

She is a registered coach ( level 1nj ) under the National Accreditation Scheme through the EFA and
is a dressage judge.

Beginners to advanced are catered for.
TrainingJane has had many years experience in training horses from the ' just broken-in ' stage , up to Grand Prix . Jane is available both for long term schooling and for short term corrective work. She is also occasionally available for competition riding and campaigning.
Jane is a competitive rider herself and is currently training her Olympic Ferro mare up through the stages.
